While it is a</div> <div> shame that WGBH is not airing the show Joanne might be able to watch it</div> <div> on <B>WGBY</B> (they aired the program this past week but will air again during</div> <div> member favorites - check local listings) which is reaches parts of</div> <div> Boston on <B>channel 57</B> or on cable digital <B>channel 58</B>. Also, we just found</div> <div> out very last minute that New Hampshire Public Television which reaches</div> <div> into Boston on satellite (Dish channel 8781 and Direct TV channel 11)</div> <div> this <B>Sunday 3/11 2:00pm</B></div> <bR> <div> Another option is to log on to either of these stations websites and</div> <div> make a donation and chose the DVD of the program (with bonus footage!)</div> <div> as your thank you gift. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that a program about Polish culture hasn't been offered here. Perhaps, you feel there is not enough interest in the Boston area. But you are wrong, there is a strong Polish community in and around the Boston area and they would be proud to have this aired on Boston Public Television.</div> <div> My roots in Boston go back to 1882 when my great-grandfather settled in South Boston - yes, I know. South Boston is known primarily for being an Irish community. May 3 is a well-celebrated day in the Polish community because it marks the anniversary of Poland's Constitution in 1791 (which used our U.S. Constitution in part as its model).
