Kasprzyk, Consul General of Poland in New York wrote an open letter to me (I am Polish American) about November 14, 2007, FOX 5 broadcast and what was said there regarding "Polish blood"</div> <div> (<A HREF="an_open_letter_to_polish_ame.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="An Open Letter to Polish Americans">in English</A> and <A HREF="list_otwarty_do_polonii.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="List otwarty do Polonii">in Polish</A>). I agree, that this case and many others show media<I> "scandalous ignorance and stereotype of ethnic humiliation"</I>.  But, I consider any writing to the owners of media as a way to make them more popular, happy and powerful.</div> <div>   </div> <div>   They will use the power we lost to them, to create more manipulation, to enslave more people's minds. </div> <div> The Media owners want our ethnic, cultural, moral, rational identity to be sold or exchanged for political correctness and totalistic production - consumption mode of life.</div> <div>  </div> <div>    I am convinced, that without standing by the others less fortunate than we are, defending others, starting from Native Americans and ending with Kazakhs, we will loose big time. Without understanding my Polishness in perspective of multiethnic society, I am wasting my time, and your time. Media owners will win, if me and you do not learn about, what does it mean to be like the Arabs, Hispanics, Indians, Jews, Kurds, Turks, indigenous or immigrant people? </div> <div>   </div> <div>   They do not want to teach me about dignity of human person. They want me and you, to be  a "good citizen", the one who always dreams about a bigger house, a bigger TV, a bigger car and..., to have smaller mind, easier to manipulate. This is why they want us to be divided between the Jews and Poles, between the natives and immigrants, between the Christians and Muslims,  the republicans and democrats, the legals and illegals, the citizens and noncitizens. They also want me to believe, that nothing is wrong except political incorrectness. They want me and you to respect them and the politicians who servicing their big profits. </div> <bR> <div>  They create fake problems and conflicts on TV's screens and than infect real life to make me think their way, to see ourselves as a different human beings. But I have seen my blood not once, and this is simply red blood. And I know, that the people have red blood in Iraq, in Rwanda, in Kosovo, in Bangladesh, in Hiroshima and in Warsaw. And there is nothing in blood, any blood, except life.  And I know that, life is  precious, not  wealth.</div> <div> I am convinced, that you know the same but we can not share this, because our media are not ours.</div> <bR> <div> My first step will be not to write, to any "Media's Stalin" of XXI century, but to unplug my TV. </div> <div> My second step, as a Christian and Polish American (by the end of November 2007) will be </div> <div> not to participate in the "Xmas Shoppingnism" religion and do not use my life to make wealthy people </div> <div> more wealthy. </div> <div> My third step will be to look carefully for some real people like you around me and listen to you and communicate, as much as this is possible, with my own thoughts. And share with you the best of me. </div> <div> My fourth step will be to take the book you tell me and read. </div> <div> My fifth step will be to find a book for you.</div> <bR> <div> So, we will walk together and get back our freedom to share our knowledge in our own media.</div> <div> This is my Polish-American Dream,</div> <bR> <div> inspired by the letter: "An Open Letter to Polish Americans" by Krzysztof W.
